It's Not About Pretty

I also enjoy incorporating the client’s colors into the wardrobe selects, for the ultimate tie-ins photographically.

  Nothing better than working with teenagers who are full of energy for their 7 AM call time. Here’s some new creative direction and styling work I did recently for Awkward World Magazine .   Always a fun day when you get to work with amazing female Olympians, especially when the shoot is at the LA Coliseum. I’ve worked with Olympian Allyson Felix over the years, but I hadn’t had the pleasure of working with Olympian Janet Evans, so that was a real treat.  These ladies were so professional, easy and fun and I loved seeing them grace the cover of CSQ Magazine. There is nothing better during the summer than having the #FreedomToFind, so that’s exactly what we decided to do when we shot this lookbook. We piled Amanda, Zara, and Kala into a friends jeep and took a little road trip to some iconic LA spots, starting with a rad backyard ramp (complete with a tree house!), after a few hours we got hungry, so we decided to grab some (ok, a box) donuts at this iconic LA spot, and then hit the beach for a late day skate sesh before the sun went down.
