Tone It Up Book Shoot

Image
Photography: John Segesta & Nicole Hill /  Make-up: Jennifer Anton  / Stylist: Cindy Whitehead This was one of the more diverse and fun projects I got to work on at the end of 2014. The amazing & energetic, Tone It Up girls, Karena & Katrina, asked me to come in and do the styling for their upcoming book “TONE IT UP 28 Days to Fit, Fierce, and Fabulous”. The looks I needed to pull together with my team ranged from work out wear, swimwear, & casual lifestyle outfits, to date night looks. We used some pieces of their existing wardrobe here and there, and added in elements that were fresh and new, avoiding brands with logos that were distracting. Keeping the color flow consistent throughout all the shots with out repeating color combos too often, was also something to take into consideration while doing the wardrobe pull. We ended up going for lots of bright summer colors for workout and swimwear, which convey “energy”, and sticking to a more soft and pretty, neutral palet

Memorial Day Skate Session

Image
Photo: Ian Logan I hope you had a wonderful three day weekend!  It’s really rare &  nice to have the streets here in Los Angeles be with out traffic, even in the early morning hours, so I took advantage of it and  had a little skate session at 7 AM through Beverly Hills. The streets were  so smooth and I had them all to myself. Love that.  Of course I had to wear some  red, white & blue today to honor those who have served our country. #ThankYou

Styling For Orly

Nice to see an awesome article about ORLY International in the LA Times Image section this weekend featuring and talking about some of the recent ad campaigns I have had the pleasure of styling for them, including the most recent color collection “Adrenaline Rush”  which involved skateboarding!

Orly "Adrenaline Rush" Commercial

Image
Spent the day styling for Orly Cosmetics to launch their new “Adrenaline Rush” nail polish collection for summer 2015. Love that they asked me to bring my “Girl is NOT a 4 Letter Word” skateboard and apparel line and that the creative director decided they were perfect to work in throughout the commercial! Always a perfect day when I get to merge my love of fashion styling with skateboarding.

My styling team & I enjoying Beignets at Cafe Du Monde  in New Orleans Last looks.  One of New Orleans beautiful cemeteries I had the pleasure to spend the last 16 days working on  both Wrangler and Lee Riders commercials.  We did the bulk of the wardrobe prep here in Los Angeles, shipped it all out to New Orleans and had an amazing day working with Drew Brees and family and then jumped right into styling the new Lee Riders commercial that will be out soon.  Couldn’t have asked for a better group and team of people to work with.  Thanks to Toth + Co and Wrangler for having me back again!
