  I love seeing things that are a bit unexpected.  Like this guy carrying his surfboard across a busy downtown LA intersection . Had to sneak a shot with my iphone – it was too awesome not to.

I really appreciate Carissa Moore putting herself on the line to speak out and be honest about the great, the  good, and the bad in women’s pro surfing. We have a long way to go baby…  

A shot from one of my favorite places to shop in the entire world – Pacha Mama in Sayulita, Mexico. I bought so much great jewelry there one visit that I had to wear it all home through customs. Seriously. That’s how amazing the place is.  

Sometimes “work” is the same as pleasure in my book. Sending the day at the Agenda Trade Show was one of those days. Got to see a lot of old skater friends, friends in the fashion industry and people at various brands I am lucky enough to work with. Checked out some cool new stuff in the skate and surf industry and had a killer time at the Concrete Wave Magazine BBQ. Pretty much a rad Friday. Oh yeah and I got in a little surfing. lol Hope your weekend was awesome!  

Shit I am loving right now: This bitchin’ hotel I stayed in recently on the beach in Carlsbad. How rad is that pool right on the beach? Paddleboarding in the cove near my house with friends all morning in crystal clear water that was as warm as a bathtub. Getting to see/hold a SHARK egg for the first time ever. Weird looking isn’t it? This beautiful “fish” surfboard at the Quiksilver Women’s store in Malibu. The shape and colors are radness. A new fashion score. This insane bohho kimono from Clover Canyon. So frigging ME. The best scent ever!!  Zogs Sex Wax now comes in candles. This one is the original coconut smell. This is THE surf wax I used all through my youth. Best shit ever, & it brings back all those lazy summer days spent at the beach surfing & hanging with friends. How was your summer weekend?
