It's Not About Pretty

I was invited to speak on a panel  put on via Northeastern University last week discussing how to get girls to participate in sports. I was brought in by  women’s baseball trailblazer herself, Justine Siegal, to discuss alternative sports like skateboarding as options for the girls so of course I had to wear something sporty! It’s been chilly here in LA for the past few days  – don’t laugh, 60 degrees is chilly to us warm weather people.  So it was time to break out the new leopard leggings, the moto boots  I got in Dallas (that still need to be broken in), and a huge comfy over-sized sweater. Because really, if you can’t look like you just rolled out of bed and wrapped a blanket around you is it really fashion?
