OK here it comes – the Sayulita, Mexico posts. Prepare to be inspired and assaulted by gorgeous colors. Sayulita is nothing short of inspirational in every way. It’s a small town outside of Puerto Vallarta with great surf, a lot of Americans “living the life”, tons of color, amazing weather and insanely awesome people. My first trip there was 13 years ago and it is hands down one of my favorite places in the world.

This beautiful place is the boutique hotel – Petit Hotel Hafa, which is centrally located right in the middle of town. Any hotel that has this much going on is some place I could be totally into on a daily basis. So glad I made the time to stop by and check it out. From the heart walkway to the rooftop lounge and the gorgeous boutique downstairs, I am in love.

It’s totally inspiring me to do something similar on our outdoor deck area here in Hermosa.  This could be a DIY in the next few months – fueled by margaritas, of course.

There is nothing better during the summer than having the #FreedomToFind, so that’s exactly what we decided to do when we shot this lookbook. We piled Amanda, Zara, and Kala into a friends jeep and took a little road trip to some iconic LA spots, starting with a rad backyard ramp (complete with a tree house!), after a few hours we got hungry, so we decided to grab some (ok, a box) donuts at this iconic LA spot, and then hit the beach for a late day skate sesh before the sun went down.
