Brent Lavett is the real deal. California boy, surfer, skater, hairdresser. The guy just “gets it” and totally knows his shit when it comes to hair. Stoked to see his new Lavett & Chin  sea salt spray now available  at J.Crew. Can’t wait to get some so when I’m traveling (aka  land locked)  I can recreate the beachy look that my hair has when I am here in Hermosa during the summer.  Radness.

  Anytime I get to style beautiful pro surfer and shark attack surivor, Bethany Hamilton, it’s an awesome day! This time was for her red carpet appearance for her new movie UNSTOPPABLE that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.  She just gave birth to her second son, Wesley, five weeks before, and she looked glowing and great. Bethany and her outfit got a lot of love from the media site JUST JARED, so I thought I’d share what they posted about her. UNSTOPPABLE a great movie, (3 years in the making)  so mark your calendars when it’s released in a theater near you – you won’t want to miss it. Female Olympians For CSQ Magazine

  Always a fun day when you get to work with amazing female Olympians, especially when the shoot is at the LA Coliseum. I’ve worked with Olympian Allyson Felix over the years, but I hadn’t had the pleasure of working with Olympian Janet Evans, so that was a real treat.  These ladies were so professional, easy and fun and I loved seeing them grace the cover of CSQ Magazine.
