I love seeing things that are a bit unexpected. Like this guy carrying his surfboard across a busy downtown LA intersection . Had to sneak a shot with my iphone – it was too awesome not to.
Photos Ian Logan I finally had some time off from styling shoots and took a week long break over the holiday to skateboard through the south. Got to experience some great locations, have a lot of fun, and remembered that it’s damn cold skating through intersections at 7 AM when you have wind chill going on. (You tend to forget that living in California most of the year). Now it’s back to work and working on estimates, pulling wardrobe for upcoming shoots and making each shoot a success. Now it’s back to work, cranking out estimates, pulling wardrobe for upcoming shoots and making each shoot day with my clients a success. Happy New Year and here’s to a great 2017! Save
images via Indoek Picture it – surfing San O’ all day with your girlfriends, camping at night on the beach, falling asleep to the sound of the waves in your own teepee so you’re ready for another session in the morning before the crowds even wake up. Yep, the collapsible 6 ft tall (when assembled) bamboo, aluminum, canvas and leather teepee is so compact that you can throw it into the car and then have it up and ready to chill in within 15 minutes. And who said the nomad life wasn’t one worth living? Available for $295 through Indoek
Always a fun day when you get to work with amazing female Olympians, especially when the shoot is at the LA Coliseum. I’ve worked with Olympian Allyson Felix over the years, but I hadn’t had the pleasure of working with Olympian Janet Evans, so that was a real treat. These ladies were so professional, easy and fun and I loved seeing them grace the cover of CSQ Magazine. Photography: Ian Logan Hair & Make-up: Kelly Shew Stylst: Cindy Whitehead
